We have been very busy already this year with competing at Small Schools Athletics and many of us making it to South Otago Athletics. A few of the seniors even made it to Southland to compete.
Our class has done lots of awesome art work already, it has all been based around what makes us special.
The first art task was called circular art we had to create a piece of art work in a shape of a circle - 3 different aspects to show how we belong
- something we like doing,
- something that links us to NZ,
- something that links us to where their family has come from.
We also completed some awesome word art using words to describe ourselves and people and things special to us.
Our self portraits were created using words about ourselves, we wrote sentences, took a photo, traced around the photo, then wrote words on top of the lines to create our masterpieces. We think all our art looks pretty cool and our classroom is bright and colourful.
