Borland Lodge Fun Time Senior Class Camp

Our blog has been a bit quiet lately as we have been on School Camp, but this is a recount of some of our adventures last week.

We started off with a two hour long drive and headed off first to Clifden Caves.  We were caving for two hours, it was a fun experience.  We saw some glow worms and their webs and stalactites and stalagmites.  It was cool.  We then headed off to Borland Lodge where we were staying for the week.

Here we did fun activities like archery, air rifle shooting, rock climbing, abseiling, bivvy building, kayaking and horizontal bungy, and a nature walk.
Tom’s favourite part of camp was the horizontal bungy because he slid all the way back in the mud after firstly being tricked that he was hooked up when he wasn’t. Macleod’s favourite activity was abseiling because it was fun and it made him have an adrenaline rush and he has never abseiled before, the worst part was that we only got to do it once and he got lost coming back up.
